Better information leads to better choices.
A few years ago, after I was diagnosed with one digestive problem after another, after years in pain and of popping pills, I decided to seek alternative and natural forms of treatment. My mother, who supported me from Day 1, got me books and materials from the library, from her friends who practiced yoga and subscribed to ancient healing and traditions, and helped me make sense of all this information. It was the first time that I’ve seriously considered an alternative to the kind of medicine we practice here and the treatment I was receiving.
I also visited several doctors in my area who practiced one form or the other of Eastern Medicine (traditions from their homeland), and learned from them the wisdom and knowledge of healing, passed down from generation to generation.
Today, I am a firm subscriber to natural methods of treatment and holistic medicine. I believe that when one part of the body hurts, it is because of an imbalance of the whole.
In my studies and journeys, learned about plants and herbs, about meditation and yoga. I was able to go to retreats where I learned how to calm myself, teach myself to get rid of stresses and focus on the positive. I learned that there are plenty of natural digestive help out there and that if I wanted to get well, I needed to invest time and energy in looking for my own treatment.
I am aware that this unorthodox method is not for everybody. What I will do is present natural digestive help and perhaps be able to convince some skeptical sufferers to give this a try. Hopefully, I can help you, too. I know your desperation because I was once where you are.
Share your experiences with me. I would love to hear from you.
Thank you for your visit.
